TASTING :: DECEMBER 20, 2017
Ugarte Cosecha 2015
Clean, bright, high intensity cherry red with maroon hues. Red fruits and licorice combined with toasted wood and vanilla. Balanced, fresh and tasty. High aromatic intensity, outstanding fruit notes and toasted wood in the aftertaste.
Zolo Malbec 2016
A dark, inky hued wine, which opens to violets, black tea, coffee grounds and blueberry pie aromatics. Smooth and round, this leads to deep black tea, mocha and blueberry flavors as it displays a layered texture through the finish.
Guerrieri Rizzardi Valpolicella Classico
More full bodied than most years with a wealth of ripe, dark berried fruit, the wine is structured and vibrant with fine tannin, giving support and a lively freshness balancing the rich nature of the fruit.
Trefethen Double T Chardonnay
Flavors of citrus, peach & nectarine make this wine great for sipping. Bright fruit leads to notes of graham cracker & baking spices while enhancing the full-bodied mouthfeel.
Bonny Doon Syrah Le Pousseur
Wild plums, blackberries, Griotte cherries and a hint of licorice.
