TASTING :: APRIL 12, 2015

Cleto Chiarli Brut De Noir Rose

Italy – $17.64

It is of a deep ruby red color with a pink froth. Fruity aroma and palate, typical of this varietal, which are very pleasant indeed. Thanks to a rational and slow fermentation the wine has a distinct softness and delicacy.

Ramey Chardonnay ’12

California – $31.25

This is a crisp expression of honeycomb and green apple that bristles in acidity and nuanced oak. Fresh and alive, it has plenty of celebratory fruit flavor while remaining savory and elegant.

Inama Carmenerre, ’11

Italy – $21.65

Strong aromas of peppers in the ripe Carmenere style along with blackberry and black cherry. Pleasant peppery nose. Black fruit up front, black pepper towards the end and on the finish.

Balboa Red Blend ‘12

Walla Walla, WA – $21.56

Up front there are beautiful clean fruits of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and juicy purple plums, while hints of licorice, vanilla, and mint play in the background. Digging further down, the earth comes through with suggestions of crushed rocks, sage brush, and dried leaves.

Sleight of Hand Illusionist Cabernet, ’11

Walla Walla, WA – $52.75

Gorgeous aromatics of cedar, toasty oak, black cherry, licorice, and vanilla rise up out of the glass. Abundant cherry fruit on a rich, even palate.
