Valley of the Moon Pinot Blanc, ’12

California – $13.55

This fresh Sonoma County Pinot Blanc delivers pleasing aromas of honeysuckle, peach and grapefruit. Partial aging in French Acacia wood barrels lends a rich mouth-feel followed by a bright and long finish.

 

Luna Vineyards Crisp Chardonnay, ’13

California – $15.45

This bright and fresh Chardonnay has delicate aromas of summer apricots with a hint of warm honey. Bright lemon bursts on the palate, flowing to flavors of juicy pineapple with a touch of crème fraiche. The vibrant acidity has subtle layers of oak and Marcona almonds that lingers in the clean but lengthy finish.

 

Mossback Russian River Pinot Noir, ’13

California – $21.55

This Pinot Noir packs complex aromas of lavender, red berries, black tea and freshly picked wild mushrooms. Bright flavors of cranberry and raspberry combine with barrel spice and a little leather. It is a seductive wine, medium bodied with a long finish.

 

Arsonist Red Blend, ’12

California – $19.99

A deep garnet red, this blend approaches with strong chocolate and toast aromas—barrel oak, caramel, ripe black cherries and cassis. Flavors of brambly blackberry and coffee lead to a long, lingering mocha finish. The Arsonist is a big, chewy wine with firm tannins that take a long ride on the palate.

 

Star Lane Cabernet Sauvignon, ’10

California – $41.95

A pretty garnet color in the glass, this wine seduces with it’s initial aromas of black plums, figs, and cinnamon. Layers of pepper, cola, cocoa and hints of extracted boysenberry intrigue the palate.

Carol Shelton Rocky Reserve Zinfandel, ’11/12

California – $33.95

Nice dark-red in color, big blueberry-blackberry fruit, spicy-chocolatey oak, nicely focused acidity enhances mineral flavors, elegantly structured tannins for aging, super plush long finish.
