February-11,-2016

Adami Garbel Prosecco NV

Italy – $14.55

The ample nose releases crisp-edged, complex fruit notes, and the palate is full-flavored with a crisp acidity. A wonderfully versatile sparkler.

Tiki Sounds Sauvignon Blanc

New Zealand – $13.95

Ripe juicy grapefruit passion fruit. Herbal. Nicely balanced acidity. Limey crisp finish hints of ripe apples.

Piano “Bruno’s Cab”

Washington – $16.75

Dark ruby in color with bright fruit, spice, smoke & earth aromas on the nose. Medium to full bodied mouth feel with silky round and balanced tannins.

Aia Vecchia “Lagone”

Italy – $11.90

Burgundy color with purple showing, smells of licorice, anise, and fig, full body with fine chewy tannin, bold and intense, tastes of cedar, black pepper, roasted red bell pepper, long finish with a sweet tobacco aftertaste.

Modo Red by Locus

Washington – $18.95

Merlot is definitely the power plyer of this blend. A bouquet of blueberries and a hint of ground nutmeg. On the palate, brambly blackberries and dark cherries morph into subtle tobacco, cedar, and leather. Bright acidity and surprisingly gripping tannins round out this easy-drinking red.

Balboa Cab Franc

Washington – $38.95

Up front there are beautiful clean fruits of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and juicy purple plums, while hints of licorice, vanilla, and mint play in the background. Digging further down, the earth comes through with suggestions of crushed rocks, sage brush, and dried leaves.
