Ancient Peaks Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles 2015

Dark fruit aromas of black cherry and cassis with suggestions of black olive, pencil shaving and tobacco leaf. A broad, mouthfilling texture unfolds with flavors of red cherry, currant, blackberry and kirsch. Lingering notes of cedar, anise and clove spice are interwoven into a juicy, lively finish.

Bianchi Famiglia Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza, ARG  2014

It has a complex nose that is reminiscent of berries, spice, cedar, chocolate. The nose carries through to the palate, delivering a rich, luscious texture with berry and cedar flavors. It is a well balanced wine with a long, pleasing finish.

Intense aromas and flavours of cassis, pencil shavings and dark, bitter chocolate, lifted by mint and pepper tones.

Deep, ripe black fruit aromas and flavors provide the framework for a richly concentrated wine with generous notes of fresh plum, currant and black cherry that stretch across a long, textured finish.

Langmeil Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa AUST  2014

This shows aromatic red currants, bay leaf and sage on the nose, then folds in hints of cinnamon and brown sugar. The oak is in the background, letting the fruit carry the wine, yet building in a rich, velvety texture.

L’Ecole Semillion, Columbia Valley, WA  2016

This wine brings notes of herb, fig and spice. The palate is full and well balanced, showing a touch of warmth on the finish.
