Full of citrus and tropical fruit notes, it strays a bit from your typical Chardonnay characteristics.
Sobon Barbera Amador County, ’13
California – $12.95
Ruby black color. Delicate aromas of toffee and flaky berry tart with a supple, vibrant, fruity medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length spiced cherries, nuts, and pepper finish with chewy tannins and moderate oak. A bright, fruity zinfandel with nice structure and warmth.
Holloran Tempranillo Eola-Amity Hills, ’13
Oregon – $17.95
It opens with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, sage and leather, followed by flavors of mint chocolate, ripe raspberry and cherry cordial. It’s all backed with firm tannins that are perfectly balanced with the fruit.
Angulo Innocenti Malbec

With a dark, opaque purple color, the wine shows the rich, dark fruit flavors and delicate violet notes very typical of the La Consulta terroir.
