TASTING :: JANUARY 10, 2018

Heritance Sauvignon Blanc – Napa

Kiwi, peach and pineapple mark this blend of Sauvignon Blanc, providing a tropical character and personality. Medium in body and weight, it finishes moderately influenced by oak and a touch of vanilla cream.

Formation Chardonnay – Monterey

Ripe pear, pineapple, and citrus flavors and an undertone of minerality. Subtle notes of toasty oak and vanilla add complexity.

Rabble Merlot – Paso Robles

Dark, fresh and somewhat sour red-fruit aromas meet with cedar on the nose of this bottling. The palate is juicy with red plums and strawberries at first, then shows more of a pine-needle edge. The tannins are a bit chunky and chewy, though, but may smooth out with time.

Martin Ray Cabernet, Sonoma

A fruit-driven bouquet and palate with notes of wild blackberry, Maraschino cherry, and spicy persimmon is balanced by aromatic cloves, fresh sage leaves, and a touch of butterscotch.

Cleaver Red Blend, Sierra Foothills

Vanilla, cola, ripe plum and dark cherry are all abundant in the aroma profile of this dark and seductively soft red blend. Bold and rich, while exhibiting distinct flavors of blackberry pie, coffee and angel food cake.
