Mahoney Carneros Chardonnay ’11

California – $22.05

The aromas of Granny Smith apple with high-toned citrus and a bright floral note jump out of the glass. On the palate the flavors mirror the aromatics, with apple and citrus notes balanced by a yeasty toast and delicate touch of French oak.

 

Heredad Ugarte Crianza ’10

Spain – $14.95

This wine has clean aromas with ripe fruit and hints of toast. Smooth and soft tannins make this an easy drinker with a beautiful lingering finish and aromatic aftertaste.

 

Garzon Tannat ’13

Uruguay – $17.75

This elegant and powerful wine opens with beautiful aromas of raspberry and red cherry followed by delicious flavors of black plum, rhubarb and tobacco mixed with dark chocolate and white pepper. It has a finish that presents a brilliant tension between silky tannins and supple fruit.

 

Fabre Montmayou Reserva Malbec, ’13

Argentina – $15.50

Deep red color with violet tones. Very intense bouquet with red fruits like cherries and spices. Complex and well balanced with notes from the oak like vanilla and chocolate. Big on the mouth. A modern style wine, with sweet silky tannins.

 

Ammunition Sonoma County Cabernet ‘11

California – $24.55

Rich in color and texture, this is a true representation of what a Sonoma Cabernet should be. Blackberry, cherry and tobacco essences combine with hints of apple to create a well-orchestrated and memorable experience. Rich mouth feel with green pepper and green olive present in the nose. Peppery through the middle of the taste with a finish that resolves itself with smooth, supple tannins.
