TASTING :: MARCH 18, 2018
Mercat Brut Cava, Spain
The nose bursts with rich pear, green apple and hints of cream. On the palate the wine shows great finesse and balance with notes of papaya and pear rounded out with hints of hazelnuts, finishing with crisp acidity and freshness.
Geil Scheurebe Kabinett, Spain
Soft honeydew and light berry flavors tickle the palate making it light and easy. Herbal basil mint and more honeydew come out on the finish giving the wine a nice little bit of sweetness.
Domaine La Florane A Fleur de Pampre Rose 2016
This wine is slightly acidic, with citrus and watermelon undertones.
Mt. Riley Central Otago Pinot Noir, NZ
A complex and expressive nose showing red fruits, cherries and wild thyme. A wine of striking purity. Concentrated fruit is balanced with tannin/acid freshness.
Huarpe Winery Taymente Malbec 2016
Deep red color with violet hues. Good expression of ripe red fruit, especially cherry, and delicate spicy notes. The palate is round and delicate with long-lasting tannins.
Russell Creek Tributary, WA
Tasting notes of dark fruit, cedar, tobacco and tons of spice (especially pepper). Wonderful robust body. Very structured tannins.
